This is a drawing done in an evening... didn't quite get the curve of the leg right and wished I'd started drawing a little further up on paper... but overall I'm happy with results!

Beginning of "Florence Window" painting...


Here is rough start of canvas for "Florence Window", layed in some yellow ochre... cad yellow med, raw umber, bone white... just trying to make it look convincing and capture spirit of subject without doing a copy of photo... stay tuned.....

"Debra" at the finish line


Here is latest progress of "Debra" almost done (about 95%) am happy with results... I liken the process of painting a portrait to a pregnancy... it has a gestation period... and like a baby ready to be born it is born.
