Here is a drawing I did of Paul who generously modeled for us last week at Bay Ridge's Storefront portrait drawing workshop.

"Brighton Lights"

This is a painting I finished in November 2008. It is from a photo I took out at the Brighton Beach train station. It was a gorgeous summer night and the sky was that beautiful blue that I love. I think I captured it the way I wanted to.

"Beach Day"

Just a shout out to all the artist's in the house... here is a painting that I finished a short time ago. Just wanted to put it out there and see what other's have to say.
I love painting people, i.e., portraits... but painting posted here is a group scene taken from a photo on the beach at Coney Island. I love the diversity of the characters, (not gettin' too PC now), the group scene just felt real to me... real people who probably have a million stories to tell!
